About Our Program:
It is our purpose at Millis School Lunch Program to serve meals that are of high quality and nutritious. Our kitchens offer choices to fill the needs of varied diets, tastes and traditions, while at the same time keeping in line with dietary guidelines that are set by the national School Lunch Program.
The Millis lunch program has undergone changes during the last year. We are focusing on lowering the amount of fat in the school diet, giving the students more fresh vegetables & fruits and offering more choices to vegetarians. At both Clyde F. Brown School and at the Middle / High School the menus are created individually for each school. We try to create menus that will invite the children to want to buy lunch. As we all know a student learns better when they have had a healthy breakfast and lunch.
